  •  L: Listen to Understand

     Instead of listening to defend or fix, you’ll gain skills to mirror, deepen, and validate — the three steps that help your partner actually feel heard. (Hint: listening doesn’t mean agreeing.)

  •  K: Kind to Yourself & Kind to Your Partner

    You’ll practice the gentle repair skills that help you reconnect faster after conflict. You’ll also learn how to set boundaries with compassion and rebuild trust through kindness — not criticism.

Hi, I’m Aly Bullock, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and creator of Relationships With Aly. Through thousands of hours, I’ve helped hundreds of couples who felt disconnected, defensive, or hopeless learn how to repair, rebuild, and reconnect through better communication.

I know what it’s like to get stuck in those same arguments. (My husband Sean and I still laugh about how we used to argue about arguing.) But through my own marriage and my work as a therapist, I learned that love doesn’t fade because you fight — it fades when you stop feeling safe to talk.
